We aim to keep our fees low so that as wide a range of children as possible can join us at Fordwych.  In addition, we have one free place per year for a child who would not otherwise be able to come to the Nursery.

Parents will be invoiced for fees at the beginning of each term. If you need to know the fees for the whole year, you can email us at fordwychnursery@hotmail.com and we will be happy to do our best to work them out for you.

Fees can be paid weekly in cash. Cheque payments can be made for periods of four weeks, half termly or termly.  Payment is due, in advance, on Mondays.  Cheques should be made payable to Fordwych Nursery School Ltd.

The Department of Education and Skills provides a grant of approximately £465 per term for each three and four year old (pro-rata if a child does not attend five sessions per week). Children who qualify for a Nursery Education Grant will have this discounted from the fees that would otherwise be due at the beginning of each term. The Education Grant is available for children for the Autumn term if they are 3 before 31/08/2007, for the Spring term if they are 3 before 31/12/07 and for the Summer term if they are 3 before 30/03/08

You will appreciate that we cannot allow fees to slip into arrears.  Failure to pay the fees on time will result in the loss of your child’s place at Nursery.  A warning will be issued if two weeks’ fees are outstanding.  A final notice will be issued if three weeks’ fees are outstanding.

Please give us four weeks’ notice if you child will be leaving Nursery.

Fees are payable for Bank Holidays and Inset days. We are required to have a certain number of inset days per year in order for your children’s teachers to be fully trained and have the opportunity to plan their education carefully.

Child Care Vouchers

Some working parents may be offered childcare vouchers by their employers. We accept these from the following companies ACCOR, BUSYBEES, CARE4, ALLSAVE and LEAPFROG. If you wish to pay by vouchers please speak to Laura, or email us at fordwychnursery@hotmail.com. There is a £15 per term fee for paying by vouchers due to the additional work involved in the administration of these payments.
